Goodluck Ebele Jonathan met with the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Reconciliation Committee, led by former Senate President, Bukola Saraki. The meeting was held indoors with the former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan at his house in Abuja but the full gist of the meeting are yet to be known.
Those who where in attendance included the Former governor of Gombe State, Ibrahim Dankwambo, former Secretary to the Federal Government, Senator Pius Ayim, former governor of Cross River, Senator Liyel Imoke, former House amongst others.
Held behind shut doors, the purpose of the gathering was unknown and anonymous as of Tuesday morning, but it surely will not be unrelated to the 2023 elections.

The Saraki-led Reconciliation Committee was established after the 2019 general election, to help the party resolve disgruntled members, including those who switched to other parties, and as well attract new members into the party.
The PDP as of recent lost one of its famous member to the ruling party when the governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi switched to the APC.
Afterwards, there have been several claims by the APC that more governors from the PDP would leave and defect to APC, they claim that the PDP National Working Committee has rejected.
