The Saraki-led Reconciliation Committee was established after the 2019 general election, to help the party resolve disgruntled members, including those who switched to other parties, and as well attract new members into the party.
The PDP as of recent lost one of its famous member to the ruling party when the governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi switched to the APC.
Afterwards, there have been several claims by the APC that more governors from the PDP would leave and defect to APC, they claim that the PDP National Working Committee has rejected.
